Sunday the wind was blowing steady at 25 mph with higher gusts. We decided to take a road trip to Mobile to check out a couple of marinas. We stopped at the Donut Hole for breakfast then drove about 2 hours to Mobile. The marinas are on Dog River. Either one would be okay for an overnight stop but not a place where I would want to spend an extended stay. Kinda like Bridgepoint Marina in Lake Charles. On the way back we detoured off I-10 to Gulf Shores, Alabama to have lunch at LuLu's. Real family place with lots of kids playing in the sand boxes. Reminded Morele of Rhian playing at Bill's in Kingwood.
