Baytowne Wharf Goes Mardi Gras
Baytowne Wharf is an entertainment/dining/ retail enclave within the Sandestin Resort complex. On Wednesday's they host an open air concert in the town square. Last night Chubby Carrier played. It was kinda cool watching the Snowbirds react to Zydeco music. The area is decked out with Mardi Gras stuff.
New Year's Eve
Morele's cousin, Phyllis "Fee-Fee" drove over from Lafayette to spend a few days with us. We rented a room at Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin for New Year's eve. A zydeco band played in the town square. We stayed up to watch the fireworks display at midnight.
