Friday the 13th started well. Harbormaster Phil found our deck chair that had blown overboard a few days earlier. Sure glad that I didn't pay for Scott to fly over and dive for it. We rode bikes around Holiday Isle. We decided to load up the bikes and drive over to Grayton Beach. Grayton is about 25 miles east of Destin. We rode around the state park and the village of Grayton, home of the world famous Red Bar. Guess what? The Red Bar isn't red anymore. They painted it green. Well we stopped in for a refreshment at the Red (Green) Bar anyway. We then loaded up and drove over to Dune Allen, another small beachfront community. At Dune Allen there is a nice roadside park with beach access and restroom facilities. A local radio station is sponsoring a jazz festival this weekend so we cycled around the grounds as the vendors were seting up booths. We then loaded up and headed back to Destin.
