Destin Day 11 Part 2

We unloaded from our mini road trip and jumped in the little boat for a harbor cruise. All the dolphin watching boats and faux sailing cruise boats were out. The private and charter fishing boats were coming in numerous pontoon boats were putting around. The harbor was pretty busy. When we returned I set up the grill and switched on the VHF. All of a sudden I hear a lot of chatter on the radio. The story is that a woman fell off a sailboat in the middle of East Pass. Two of the dolphin watching boats were circling trying to rescue but she was refusing help. The rescuers were talking to the Destin Coast Guard station describing the situation which was basically something like, "There's a drunk woman in the middle of East Pass, she's refusing our help, you better come get her". We jumped into the truck and drove to a spot where we could watch the action. We watched the coast guard arrive and pull the woman from the water. I think she probably has some "s'plaining" to do.
