Plus Ca Change

Plus ces't la meme chose. We drove up to the Merdie Boggs landing in Catlettsburg Kentucky and it took my breath away. The Merdie Boggs dock and The Boat Store looked exactly the same as it did 40 years ago. In those days before cell phones and email this was the place where we would get our snail mail from home. Lots of memories about this place.

  1. Oh my god! I hadn't heard Merdie Boggs' name in 45 years! This must have been quite a sight for you! Were you able to talk to any of the "oldtimers?" I wonder if any of them are still alive. I'm enjoying your running commentary. What a trip this must be for you! Take care, love to "Marlee."
