We walked around the city today looking for the WKRP station but we never found it. We did find a building with a ruler showing the level of the numerous floods that the city experienced. The very top mark shows the high water mark of the 1937 flood at 80 feet above flood stage. That same flood destroyed my grandparent's home on the banks of the Bayou Teche and forced them to evacuate to higher ground in Lafayette. FEMA didn't provide much help then either.
