Lookout Mountain towers above Chattanooga. Ruby Falls and Rock City are located on the mountain. Also located at the summit is a battlefield park where one of the battles for control of Chattanooga took place.Ruby Falls is a 400+ foot waterfall located 1200 feet deep in the mountain. It is truly a wonder of nature. The source of the water has never been located.
