Columbus Marina

The Columbus Marina is fairly new and well maintained. We expected the restaurant on site to just be another catfish joint. We were surprised to find that it is a white tablecloth restaurant with pretty good food. The sunset picture was taken from the dining room. The marina is hosting a large (140 boats) bass fishing tournament. We departed at 5:30 am to get out ahead of the fishermen. The blurry picture is some of the boats floating around waiting for the 6:00 am blast off. (Enlarge the picture to get the full effect)

  1. I enjoy reading your daily blogs and feel as though I, too, am traveling the Tenn Tom waterway.
What a wonderful adventure and fun time you two must be having! Thanks for sharing your pictures and experiences with all of us. Hope to see you in Kentucky this summer!
