So We Meet Again

Captain Bob of the M/V Marabob pulled into the harbor last night. We've seen him several times up and down the river. He's on his way back to Longboat Key, Florida.

Somebody Forgot to Put In The Plug

This boat sank in the Harbor last night. The condo tower we're staying in is in the background.

Special Guests

My Mom and brother, Herbie, spent a few days with us in Destin. The weather was stormy but we had a great time. The bottom picture was taken at the new P F Chang's restaurant.

Mark and Brenda

Our friend Olga's son, Mark, and his significant other, Brenda, are in Destin for a few days and came by the boat for cocktails.

Bicycle Bob's Boat

Bicycle Bob is a down-on -his-luck guy who lived on his sailboat. He bought the boat a couple of years ago for $20 and he's been living on it since. His plan was to fix it up and sail to Costa Rica to preach the gospel. His plan was derailed this summer when he was arrested for indecent exposure. While in jail his boat sank and last week the county smashed it to bits and hauled it off the beach.

Saturday Afternoon at Crab Island

We anchored at Crab Island where our close friend Olga and her son, Andy, daughter-in-law, Keri, and grandkids Alexis and Nicholas joined us for an afternoon of fun and frivolity.

After AJ's

Our dear friends, Tim & Kim flew over from Houston. On Friday night we dinghied over to AJ's to watch the fishing tournament weigh-in. We found the beer bottles floating in the harbor so good citizens that we are we disposed of them properly.
